I did an exhaustive search for the right sized envelope for a special project I’d been working on for my church, when I came upon these awesome little envelopes! I really don’t know how I found them, because it seemed like it took forever searching and searching through many pages, and nothing seemed to fit the size that I was looking for. Unfortunately, I’d made the little note cards before thinking about looking for the correct size that would fit them. (Message to self: always do research for things like this beforehand.) Well, I was almost at the end of my rope trying to find a good fit, when I happened upon these perfect envelopes. I decided to order them and if they didn’t work, I’d just send them back. I’d found some other envelopes at a thrift store the day before my order arrived, and I was going to settle for them, but when I started packaging everything, I decided to open up the package of colorful envelopes to see if they’d work—-perfect fit! The note cards I made were from an 8 1/2″ X 11″ piece of paper, divided into 9ths. Each card, as you can see by the pictures fit perfectly into the envelopes with enough room to spare. The lighter colors, (ivory and pale green) were a little more see-through, but altogether, they made a colorful display for my project! I even had enough room to make a hole punch in each to add the ribbon ties. I highly suggest these envelopes for little 3″ X 4″ note cards! [...]
