Common Name: Crypt Spiralis Red Crypt Spiralis Red is a beautiful variation of Cryptocoryne that originates from India. This variety features brownish-red color and slender leaves that are a great choice for midground to background placement in planted tanks. When grown in large groups, Cryptocoryne Spiralis Red can provide great coverage and security for various types of aquarium livestock. Like other crypts, this plant should be kept in a mature aquarium and allowed to establish a strong root system before moving or disturbing the plant to prevent Crypt melt. Propagate by splitting the rhizome or cutting off new growth and replanting Notes: Cryptocoryne prefer not to be moved once planted. If possible, do not move them! Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
