It is formulated to deliver maximum performance and provides fast-acting results on a long list of weeds and grasses, as well as most mosses and lichens. It works on contact and biodegrades quickly. AXXE is a soap product comprised of 40% Ammonium Nonanoate, that penetrates the cell walls of plants. It disrupts the cellular organization of physiological functions that are compartmentalized by membranes within the cell walls. Plant growth ceases when cellular contents are mixed, which causes brown necrotic plant tissue. For contact spray control or burndown of weeds and grasses for food crops, field crops, pastures, ornamentals, turf, landscapes, interiorscapes, greenhouses, non-crop areas on farmsteads, and around building and industrial sites.
